Fluoride vs Nano-HAp

What is the difference between Fluoride and Nano-HAp?

Fluoride and Nano-Hydroxyapatite (Nano-HAp) both enhance dental health effectively. Fluoride is renowned for its ability to strengthen tooth enamel and prevent cavities. Nano-HAp offers a similar benefit as a fluoride-free alternative, perfect for those who prefer it, and is especially safe for children who might swallow toothpaste.

Carbon Offsetting With Pachama

Carbon Offsetting With Pachama

At AutoBrush we’re committed to offsetting our carbon footprint, and with our recent partnership with Pachama. you can rest assured that every shipment you receive from us is completely carbon-neutral!

What is carbon offsetting?

Carbon offsetting is the act of reducing emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) in order to compensate for the release of CO2 that occurs during activities like farming, transportation, and oil drilling.

How does carbon offsetting work?

Let’s look at an example:

Shipment Process

During AutoBrush’s shipping process, CO2 is released during the product’s transportation. And just like how we are committed to giving you a clean smile, we also are dedicated to keeping our environment clean.

Pachama's program helps us make our shipping carbon-neutral by assisting us in making equivalent reductions of carbon dioxide in the Amazon forest.

You may be asking yourself, how does reducing carbon dioxide elsewhere in the world offset emissions released in your neighborhood?

Climate change is a global problem. This means you can offset from wherever in the world, especially forests. Forests, oceans, and other large, natural environments are often referred to as nature’s carbon sinks for their ability to absorb large quantities of carbon dioxide.

Curious how much CO2 we’ve compensated? Read more here.

The Amazon Forest is also home to at least 10% of the world’s biodiversity.  By protecting existing carbon-reducing trees and preventing illegal logging, we help keep a large majority of the planet’s animals and plants safe.

Why is carbon offsetting important?

When carbon dioxide emissions are unavoidable, carbon offsetting is a great opportunity for businesses to protect the environment and reduce their carbon footprint.

AutoBrush recognizes our role in reducing carbon emissions and helping eliminate climate change for a better world. We hope our efforts, big or small, will help address climate change as well as maintain the homes of the world’s biodiversity.

Frequently Asked Questions

What else does AutoBrush do to promote sustainability?

It all starts with packaging. In order to limit unnecessary waste, we package our products in reusable and recyclable cardboard material.

We also used technology to ensure that your products are packaged in appropriately sized boxes. This limits the need or excess use of packing paper or bubble wrap.

Our AutoBrush flossers too are derived from biodegradable corn and packed in sustainable and recyclable material. So while you're being kind to your gums, you’re also being kind to Mother Earth!

Is the AutoBrush Pro: Nylon Brush Head eco-friendly?

Our brush heads are designed with nylon bristles on top of a silicone base.

Silicone is recyclable and can be remanufactured to produce silicone oil, which serves as a starter for many silicone-based products.

While nylon previously could not be recycled, modern-day technology allows manufacturers to repurpose it. Now, nylon can be reused in many different scenarios for household cleaning.

Can I recycle the AutoBrush Pro: Brush Heads?

There’s a couple of ways you can get rid of or reuse the nylon bristles in the AutoBrush Pro: Brush Heads.

Recycling Nylon: If you live in a city that is able to reuse nylon material to repurpose for other manufacturers, the process is fairly simple. Start by removing the nylon from your brush heads using a pair of pliers and contact your local recycling center. Usually, you are also able to recycle the silicone base of your brush head at the same manufacturer.

Reusing Nylon: Nylon provides excellent surface cleaning for many hard-to-reach spots. For example, your retired brush head paired with your preferred cleaning solution can effectively reach and clean the contours of tight-to-fit corners.
