Fluoride vs Nano-HAp

What is the difference between Fluoride and Nano-HAp?

Fluoride and Nano-Hydroxyapatite (Nano-HAp) both enhance dental health effectively. Fluoride is renowned for its ability to strengthen tooth enamel and prevent cavities. Nano-HAp offers a similar benefit as a fluoride-free alternative, perfect for those who prefer it, and is especially safe for children who might swallow toothpaste.

Reflections on Our First Convention: autobrush at SmileCon 2024

Reflections on Our First Convention: autobrush at SmileCon 2024

Attending our very first convention at SmileCon was nothing short of amazing. It was a whirlwind of excitement and unforgettable connections. This event was about more than showcasing our products; it was about building a community and celebrating the future of dental innovation.

Walking into this event, we didn’t know exactly what to expect. But what we found was an open-armed welcome from dental professionals, industry leaders, and innovators who share our passion for better oral care for all ages and abilities. Every conversation we had brought fresh insights and new opportunities

Meeting with the American Dental Association (ADA)

After months of emailing back and forth, it was great to finally meet the ADA team in person. Having real conversations beyond business talk gave us the chance to connect on a personal level. It felt more like two teams coming together with a shared goal of advancing oral care.

Discovering New Communities autobrush Can Support

SmileCon revealed powerful new ways autobrush can make a difference for diverse communities, extending far beyond just kids. From families with children to adults with disabilities and seniors facing dexterity challenges, we discovered how our technology could offer easier, more effective brushing for people of all ages and abilities. One of the most impactful insights was seeing how autobrush could empower older adults, giving them a simple, independent solution to maintain their health and dignity. Our mission is growing, and so is the community we’re dedicated to supporting.

Understanding the Science Dental Professionals Want to See from Us

Direct conversations with dental professionals provided valuable insights into the types of research that matter most. Key topics included:

  • Enamel abrasion
  • Plaque removal
  • Gum health
  • Comparisons with electric toothbrushes
  • Clinical studies involving orthodontia (braces and implants)
  • Our LED lights

These discussions underscored the importance of solid research and transparency in earning trust and driving meaningful progress in oral care.

Hearing directly from dental professionals about the science they value most gave us critical insights. Discussions around enamel abrasion, plaque removal, gum health, and comparisons with electric toothbrushes were a reminder that research drives real progress—and we’re committed to delivering data that supports better outcomes for everyone.

Our Team’s Insights

I truly believe that Smilecon was a pivotal moment for Autobrush. It was a way for us to not only introduce Autobrush to the dental professionals, but to also change the way they think about what tooth brushing looks like. I am a strong believer that Autobrush will change millions of lives because it empowers patients to take control of their oral health. It also empowers caregivers, special needs patients,  parents, and patients with dexterity issues to protect that beautiful smile. After sharing this with my colleagues at Smilecon, they too began to see the potential of Autobrush and recognize the true positive impact that Autobrush could have in their patients’ lives.“ - Dr. James Younan

“Seeing dental professionals light up with genuine excitement, curiosity, and sometimes even awe as they explored our product was so rewarding, especially knowing how much effort it took to get the brush to where it is, and earn the ADA Seal of Acceptance. Hearing over and over that our brush will make a real difference for so many of their patients, particularly for people with disabilities or dexterity challenges, really brought home how worthwhile this journey has been. Having so many attendees asking how to buy one the spot was the cherry on top!” - Camila Londono

"An unforgettable milestone for autobrush.
Making our debut at the biggest ADA conferences wasn’t just about showcasing our full-mouth, ADA-accepted design and 30-second clean; it was about the genuine connections we built. Our corner booth buzzed with excitement as dentists, industry experts, and dental enthusiasts stopped by to experience autobrush firsthand.
Hearing their enthusiasm reinforced why we’re so committed to redefining brushing for all ages and abilities. But what made it truly meaningful was meeting the people who’ve been on this journey with us from afar—those who have worked alongside us, shared our vision, and believed in what autobrush could become. Talking face-to-face and sharing our story on such a personal level reminded us of the deeper purpose driving this mission.SmileCon showed us how far we’ve come, and it fired us up even more for what’s next." - Chris Lander

"SmileCon was truly groundbreaking for us as a brand. Connecting 1 on 1 with so many awesome, new people really helped us feel our product's true potential impact on people's oral and overall health. And that was just amazing." - Cori Taylor

"Being able to connect personally with dentists to demonstrate how autobrush can impact their patients lives and hearing them share their excitement for autobrush and ideas on how their patients could benefit from autobrush was amazing. It was absolutely incredible, and I am incredibly grateful that we got to show some of the nation's best dentists what our product was all about" - Atul Shastry
