Fluoride vs Nano-HAp

What is the difference between Fluoride and Nano-HAp?

Fluoride and Nano-Hydroxyapatite (Nano-HAp) both enhance dental health effectively. Fluoride is renowned for its ability to strengthen tooth enamel and prevent cavities. Nano-HAp offers a similar benefit as a fluoride-free alternative, perfect for those who prefer it, and is especially safe for children who might swallow toothpaste.

Common Oral Infections

There are a plethora of common oral infections that can occur if you don’t take care of your oral hygiene. Bacteria in the mouth can not only cause diseases, but tooth loss as well. A good oral hygiene routine is important in preventing infections. The AutoBrush can give you the oral hygiene routine that you need without extra effort. It provides all the cleaning you need, and it does it automatically. Here’s a look at the possible diseases you can get without taking care of your oral hygiene.

AutoBrush is the best toothbrush for at home care.

Gingivitis

Remember to floss to remove bacteria.

There are multiple bacteria which can cause gingivitis. One of the most common oral infections, it’s estimated between 50 and 90 percent of adults have gingivitis. Bacteria settle in the crevices of gums, and when they produce toxins, the gums react with swelling and inflammation. This is gingivitis. If it’s left untreated, it can turn into periodontal disease. Even worse, when the toxins created by bacteria are breathed into the lungs, it can lead to pneumonia.

Periodontal Disease

Dental sugary may be necessary with certain diseases.

When gingivitis continues to get worse, eventually it turns into periodontal disease. Once the gingivitis gets below the gum line, it causes inflammation and the teeth can begin to rot. Nearly 10 percent of adults have periodontal disease. It causes tooth loss and is the number one cause of tooth loss.

Thrush

Thrush is caused by an excessive amount of fungus in the mouth. Plaque can be found on the tongue and inside the cheek.

Canker Sores

Always check your mouth for sores!

Sores that appear in the mouth, such as on the gums or cheeks, are canker sores. There’s no clear cause for canker sores, and they usually occur in younger people during hormonal changes.

Oral Herpes

According to the University of Rochester Medical Center, at least 50 percent of people carry the herpes simplex virus. Oral herpes cause blisters to form around the mouth which eventually pop and ooze liquid. Oral herpes is permanent, but it can remain dormant for an indefinite amount of time.

Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease

Coxsackie A16 usually starts with a sore throat and fever, and then develops into blisters in the mouth. They can also appear in other areas on the body. Hand, foot, and mouth disease isn’t just an oral infection but affects the whole body. The disease will usually only last about three days.

Ultimately, the only way to be sure to avoid oral infections is with the help of a good toothbrush and oral routine at home.
