How My Kids Got Their First Cavity-Free Dentist Visit with AutoBrush

Dive into the journey of a mom who turned the tooth-brushing tides with a simple switch!

Post by: Olivia Hines

After years of cavities, and drilling, and even root canals, I was beyond frustrated trying to get my kids to brush their teeth correctly. Sometimes I would hide and sneakily peek through the door to see how they were doing in there.

The results….were not good.

My oldest, Archer, probably brushed his teeth for about 10 seconds. I’ve seen him take more time and care to put on a pair of pants. And he’s 10.

I knew my sister had tried a new toothbrush made for kids who hate brushing and kids who just plain don’t brush well.

I’ll admit…I was skeptical. It’s this funky-looking mouthpiece toothbrush, and I read some reviews that said automatic toothbrushes just don’t work.

I almost didn’t buy it, but my sister shared that she’d tried cheaper knock-offs that came with flimsy silicone bristles, and they certainly did not work.

Then, she bought AutoBrush.

This brush has nylon bristles, instead, which work just like a regular toothbrush. I decided to give it a try. They have a money-back guarantee, so I figured worst case, we’d just send it back.

But honestly, I needed a solution so badly that I probably would have splurged anyway.

Y’all… this brush is a life-saver!

First of all, they are so FUN! The box plays music when you open it, and the brushes come with these cute animals on them and play music the whole brushing cycle.

Which, btw, is only 30 seconds.

I knew Kayla would love it. Monkeys are her favorite, and it seemed perfect for her at 4 years old.

I was worried at 6 that Archer may be a little too old for a gimmicky kid's toothbrush, but honestly, both kids loved it!

The brush heads come in different sizes based on age, so all we’ll have to do is replace the brush head as they grow.

We’ve had so much fun brushing (and dancing!) together. Theirs were so cute, I had to snag the adult one for myself.

PS: The adult brush is equally cool, and it even doubles as a teeth whitener. I can’t wait to show y’all the results.

Anyway, this was all cool. Yes. But…I still had no idea if it worked.

When I tell you we never had a cavity-free visit, I mean it. For both boys, it was always something.

I was kinda ready for the dentist to crush my hopes and dreams of this new brush-wars-free life, but low and behold - no cavities!

In fact, we’re now 2 for 2 A+ check-ups.

I’m so mad I didn’t try this sooner. I have spent thousands of dollars (omg it hurts to say it out loud!) on cavities, root canals (did you know they even did those on baby teeth?!), and special toothpaste, when really, there was a better solution out there all along.

New Study Revealed the AutoBrush Removes Plaque 27 Times Better Than Manual Brushing in Children

I just had to share this with ya'll. I'm going to paste some excerpts from the study, but if you want the full thing you can see it all on their website.

A recent examiner-blinded, randomized, two-period, cross-over, IRB-approved clinical study was conducted to compare the AutoBrush against a typical marketed children’s manual toothbrush.

The results were nothing short of amazing.

AutoBrush removed 27 times more plaque than the manual toothbrush. It performed better at cleaning every single tooth surface there is, including the gumline.

Above is an overview of the study results so you can see for yourself. *Proximal = tooth surfaces that are next to each other. Facial = tooth surfaces that face the cheeks or lips. Lingual = tooth surfaces that face the tongue.

The study provided these additional details:

- There were no safety issues from using the AutoBrush®.
- AutoBrush® showed significant plaque reduction for all endpoints evaluated.
- The manual toothbrush did not remove plaque from any lingual surfaces (tooth surfaces facing the tongue), whereas the AutoBrush did remove lingual surface plaque effectively.

I don’t know about you, but when I see results like this, I trust the science. And the science clearly shows that AutoBrush is a superior toothbrush that removes more plaque, prevents more cavities, and leads to better overall oral hygiene than other brushes.

You’ve gotta try this.

The one I bought came with toothbrushes for both kids and their fun-flavored foam toothpaste (they offer bubblegum and strawberry in addition to traditional mint), which the girls love.

Let me know if you try AutoBrush yourself. I am such a big fan, and I hope you will be too!

xx Olivia
