Fluoride vs Nano-HAp

What is the difference between Fluoride and Nano-HAp?

Fluoride and Nano-Hydroxyapatite (Nano-HAp) both enhance dental health effectively. Fluoride is renowned for its ability to strengthen tooth enamel and prevent cavities. Nano-HAp offers a similar benefit as a fluoride-free alternative, perfect for those who prefer it, and is especially safe for children who might swallow toothpaste.

Why Wisdom Teeth Need To Be Extracted?

Why Wisdom Teeth Need To Be Extracted?

It is not always necessary to have your wisdom tooth removed. Some of the reasons why your dentist would highly recommend you to get them removed if they cause pain or infection, they crowd other teeth and if they are impacted.

Just because your wisdom tooth is not causing you any discomfort does not mean there’s nothing wrong. They could be stuck or impacted. Eventually, they can damage the tooth next door if they push up against each other and will then lead to more harm.

When is removal essential?

  • Jaw Damage

Cysts can form around the new teeth. If they aren’t treated, they can damage the nerves around your jaws.

  • Sinus Issues

Problems with wisdom teeth can lead to sinus pain, pressure, and congestion.

  • Inflamed Gums

Tissue around the area can swell and may be hard to clean.

  • Alignment

Impacted wisdom teeth can cause problems with crowding of other teeth and even make treatment to straighten other teeth necessary through braces and other expensive procedures.

One other reason why it is important to extract your wisdom teeth is because that part of your mouth is hard to reach by your regular toothbrush. It will result in tooth decay infecting other teeth that are healthy.

Always remember that prevention is better than cure. Don’t wait for your pearly whites to get dinged before you run to your dentist. Have them removed as soon as possible.
