Frequently Asked Questions
What makes autobrush different than regular toothbrushes ?
We are the only u-shaped toothbrush with a patented nylon brush head (as opposed to silicone) with a clinical study to back our claims. In our study with Salus Research, they found autobrush removed plaque 27X better than a traditional brush.
Additionally, in our most recent study revealed that AutoBrush achieves a remarkable 45% reduction in gingivitis after 30 days of use, providing a 5X greater reduction in gum inflammation compared to manual toothbrushes.
Why are other "u-shaped" toothbrushes cheaper on Amazon?
Cheaper? Yep, but you get what you pay for. Many of those lower-priced “u-shaped” toothbrushes on Amazon feature silicone bristles, which is proven to be less effective than not brushing at all. In contrast, autobrush uses patented nylon bristles—clinically proven (in three separate clinicals) to clean your teeth 27x better and reduce gingivitis up to 45%. It might cost a bit more, but it’s an investment in your future oral health.

How does it work to clean the back of the teeth?
autobrush is expertly designed to cover every part of your teeth—the front AND backs. The brush head features bristles strategically positioned to reach all surfaces. To maximize effectiveness, all bristles pulse simultaneously, providing comprehensive cleaning. For best results, we recommend using a gentle circular motion when using your autobrush. This technique ensures that every nook and cranny gets the attention it deserves, leaving your whole mouth feeling fresh and clean.
Does it work with braces and other dental work?
The autobrush is safe to use on braces (and other dental work) - it won’t cause damage, and your little one will still get a great clean! Just make sure they move the brush around their mouth during the cleaning cycle to clean all surface areas around their braces.
What about the tongue?
Great point! We offer an automatic tongue scraper since scraping the tongue is proven more effective than brushing.

What do the lights do?
We use ultra-safe red & blue LED (non-UV!!) lights to brighten teeth and support gum health. For adults, you can pair the blue light with a whitening agent (our whitening pens are a great choice) to whiten up to 6 shades brighter.
Is autobrush ADA approved?
We are making progress toward ADA accreditation. It's a lengthy and expensive process. That being said every autobrush brush head is specially designed to utilize the ADA-approved BASS brushing technique, brushing all surfaces of your teeth at a 45° angle.
